While my friends are sweltering in 24 degree January temps, I'm enjoying balmy Palm Springs. Just to be an ass, I thought I'd upload these shots. So good...
Lacey and I spent NYE with a new tradition. Instead of the big steak dinner at LG's, we opted for a wonderful restaurant and it's three course price fix NYE special. Although it cost us my entire monthly pension, it was an incredible dinner. We will probably come back next year. New traditions...
And leaving ourselves to fate, we cruised by Melvin's for a nightcap. Fate rewarded us with a parking spot right up front and a convenient empty table inside as well. Our favorite server is still working there... such charm and grace... and Lacey got a kiss from Melvin himself!
New Year's day, we woke up to sunshine, so it was off to the pool.
